Although each board regular member is mostly committed to organising the Year Representation and recruiting, we also have our own functions which are described below. Sometimes the functions overlap, and we help each other where necessary! Every board member is also encouraged to take part in projects that run in the faculty. A new position will be added from 2022 August that is also described below.

Chairman

The Chairperson is the face of Quest! You will keep track of the overall progress in YR recruitment, lead the board meetings, and keep contact with external parties such as the Faculty Board and the EBF. Secretary

As the Secretary, your main task is keeping track of the email and handling all questions and inquiries that come in.

You will also keep the YRs up-to-date with developments within Quests or other interesting projects that run in the Faculty. Lastly, you will write the minutes of the board meetings and handle other administrative tasks of the board. As the Secretary of Quest, you will be in contact with a lot of people.

Marketing officer

As the name implies, the Marketing Officer is concerned with promotion of Quest. You will be in charge of the social media of Quest, so you can bring your creativity to life in this position! Creating appealing posts and a good social media strategy are key to attract new YR and PC members. Furthermore, you are in charge of the Quest website and you will take part in the Nestor Editorial board. Last year, the Marketing Officer was also involved with setting up the Discord channel that is part of the new FEB Hangout page.

Treasurer

As a Treasurer you will keep check of all the expenses within Quest. You will develop a budget in the beginning of the year, and make sure that all business with the bank is handled properly. Furthermore, you will handle the YR gifts and certificates at the end of the year.

PC Commissioner

Last but not least, the PC Commissioner is a pilot position approved for the academic year 2022/23 with potential to be permanent afterwards. The goal of the position is to increase communication between different actors of the Quality Assurance system through one person who sees it all.

They will be the main link between Quest and the Programme Committees and when they discover overarching issues in multiple studies the PC Commissioner will communicate these towards the Faculty Council and the Vice Dean of Education.
